West Virginia Wesleyan College, founded in 1890 and located in Buckhannon, West Virginia is a liberal arts college with strong ties to the United Methodist Church. The beautiful, relatively level campus is comprised largely of Georgian architectural expressions which create a rich context that all buildings must be sensitive to.

The Rockefeller Physical Education, Health and Athletic Training Center, a gift from former college president John D. Rockefeller IV, was designed with the campus character in mind, while providing a modern functional facility for a growing student population, and an expanding physical education and athletic training program.

The facility houses a large gymnasium, a small gymnasium, indoor tennis courts, racquetball and volleyball courts, a fitness center and dance and aerobic studios.

Additionally, the facility provides classroom and administrative spaces for the physical education, health and athletic training programs.
